Breaking away from set patterns and from the ordinary, the Annual Staff has tried to present a new and different yearbook. Life around us is constantly changingg the seniors will be going on to bigger and more difficult occupations, the underclassmen to a new school. In this time of change we must be able to adapt and to move with the times. Trying to look forward and to recognize the changes that have occurred is something that everyone must do. Yet there should always be some stabilizing agents and some traditions to carry along. With such thoughts in mind, we of the Annual Staff have created this book. The new ideas for layouts and presentation represent the change from years past. The modern symbol presented on the divider pages symbolizes the regulations that we must work around. We present to you, our readers, the 1959 ANNUAL and hope that you find it satisfying. 4
