Jackie Klune gave a repeat performance, and An- drew Thomas, pianist, played Mozart's ':Concertina in Cf' The orchestra traveled to the Boynton Junior High School on April 19 to present an assembly program. Under the direction of Miss Marsh, they have participated in four concerts. At Christmas time the orchestra joined other mus- ical groups of the Ithaca Public Schools in the annual Christmas Concert. Kathleen Walls, Concertmistress. was featured soloist in Barowskiis Adoration.', Because of a heavy snowfall, the Spring Concert. scheduled for March 16, was held on March 20. Kay Walls played another violin solo, and Jacqueline Klune Miss Marsh conducts an orchestra re- hearsal. U01 51

Choral and Glee Clubs Blend This year has been an exceptionally good one for the Choral and Glee Clubs. Both separately and to- gether as the Senior Choir, they presented many fine programs. At Christmas thel Choir participated in two school concerts, an evening performance of vocal and instru- X mental music put on by students in the lthaca Public Schools and a school assembly. One of the most enjoy- able numbers was ulVlary Had a Baby in which Alice Bly sang the soprano solo. Another high point was reached when the orchestra joined with the Choir in 4'Shepherds' Farewell to the Holy Familyf' A program of Christmas music was also given for the lthaca Women's Club. A banquet was held on February 21 at Willard Straight, and Bruce Shapley acted as Master of Cere- monies. Pins were presented to outstanding members of the Choral and Glee Clubs.
