Urganization of Committees and the fall dues drive. another record-breakinfr Nat 1' Society induction in December, and Annual pictures during the Christmas holidays were highlights of Senior life during the first term. ional Honor The second term got off to a flying start as Molly Yengo became Miss l.H.S. of' '51 on l'it'ltl'tl' ary IH. Nlarch and April witnessed industrious class members selling personalized stationery in order to increase tht- class gift fund. Encouraged by lVlr. Elmorffs prize of a free Senior Banquet ticket for the top-ranking salesmen, eager Seniors earned over 3300 toward the gift-a new scoreboard for the fooball field. l,isa Hilliard and lVlarv Holt won the tickets. Seniors entertained the rest of the school on two occasions in May--in the Senior assembly on the thirteenth when ,lim Ellis starred in Love Hits Wilburii and in a morning assembly on Class Day. May 28. Alter this last performance. class members adjourned to lfnfield State Park and entertained themselves at a picnic. ,lime l95-lvlinale for the Class of 1951. Its first activity was dancing to the music of Dick liethke in A Garden of Nlemoriesn at the Senior Ball. On june 26, after passing its Regents twell. most of theml t. the Senior Class celebrated at the Senior Banquet in Willard Straight Hall. The last class meeting was held at Bailey Hall on Monday night, June 23. l 14 l
