Miss IJC Kathy Young The parents of Miss UC are Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Young ot Pontotoc. She is a graduate of Pontotoc. During her freshman year at IJC, Kathy was one of the top ten beauties, a member ot the Valentine Sweetheart court, and a member ot the Drama Club. She was a member of the cast of Ask Any Girl. As a sophomore at ltawamba- Junior College, she served as a cheerleader, secretary of the Student Council, and was voted Most Versatile in the Who's Who. She had the leading part in the produc- tion ot Bad Seed this fall. Next year, Kathy plans to ot- tend Delta State. Her personality and her activities in school affairs make Kathy a well-rounded student and an ideal Miss IJC. 0 Mr. UC Lloyd Digby Mr. lJC's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Hollis Digby ot Ful- ton. Lloyd is a graduate of ltawamba Agricultural High School. He serves as vice-president of the Mu Alpha Theta and has been a member ofthe French Club tor two years. Besides being active in the affairs of the school, Lloyd is a very active member of his church. He is also a member of the church choir which appears on television each Sunday. He plans to enter Mississippi State Universi- ty next year to pursue a career in mathematics. Lloyd en- ioys his leisure time deer hunting and archery hunting. His devotion to his school and his church resulted in his being selected as Mr. IJC and a member of the Hall of Fame. i
