Adult edu- cation is the method by which each citizen can obtain the ad- vancement in training and skills he may have missed in his earlier life. There is no cost. Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Instruction is based on the operating principles, proce- dures, techniques, and theory of air conditioning and refrig- eration. Students learn to in- stall, maintain, and repair re- frigerating equipment used in refrigerating plants and in cooling air and water, Health Occupations Among those in this field are: Practical nurse, medical assistant, dental assistant, operating room assistant, nurse's aid, etc. ln the medical assistant course shown here, a per- son is trained to assist a physician. This one year course includes classroom and clinical experience. Data Processing This is a two-year program designed to educate and train students in the use ot electro- mechanical and electronic equipment for processing busi- ness data. lt is specifically de- signed to train machine opera- tors and computer program- mers.
