And so ends another school year, twelve long, hard years for the Seniors โ€” but something to be proud of. As Juniors, we received our class rings. Our mighty football team had a most successful year โ€” UNDEFEATED!! As Seniors we ordered invitations, measured for caps and gowns, sold cushions, and had a most exciting class play. 1 973 โ€” a year of memories and fun, a year we ' ll never forget . . . because . . . WE ' RE THE BEST AS YOU CAN SEE!!! WE ' RE THE CLASS OF 73!!! SELLING CUSHIONS 205 The Government Democracy Speaking Contest . . . teachers using every spare minute to get the grades in . . . idle books . . . being alert in class only v hen it ' s time for the buzzer . . . playing sock-it-to-me . . . finding out Who ' s Who on campus . . . trying to like the lunches . . . keeping busy in workshop . . . Andy proving to be an A-1 essay writer and speaker 206 207 . . . The Seniors ' presentation of Seventeenth Summer . . . playing cards in the student center . . . having a Star Student and Star Teacher for the first time . . . having beautiful boys, as well as beautiful girls . , . are all highlights of our school year experiences. As you walk over the campus of lAHS, you see the beauty and the scars produced by time. Each day spent here has brought another challenge, another trial, or another attainment. But each busy day has brought you closer to the end of your time at lAHS. To those leaving, may the Mirror serve to remind you of this wonderful year. To those remaining, may it encourage you to attain greater heights in 1 973-74. 208
