Both are exempli- fied in Rosanne Burleson, former Itawamba Junior College co-ed who is now reigning as Mississippi ' s Miss Hospitality. Even though she is no longer on our campus she serves as IJC ' s good will ambassador to the outside world. Miles II PRESIDENT John S. Crubaugh DEAN James A. Thrash CARL RICHARD ST. CLAIR Almost on the eve of the 1964-65 opening session at IJC-AHS. chimes from the far beyond called one of this institution ' s most devoted servants. For 10 years and 10 weeks C. R. St. Clair was known as a true friend, the kind who would sacrifice something he needed or wanted for another. On August 18 he suffered the fatal sei- zure which left a void for his family, friends and community. He was only 39. A graduate of Mississippi State University with B.S. and M.S. degrees, Mr. St. Clair loved his adopted state and was quick to defend its traditions and heritage. He was a native of Newberry, Michigan. Surviving include his widow and two daughters, Nancy, and Mrs. Nina Gray. With deep appreciation for the way he lived and the things for which he stood, the 1965 MIRROR humbly remembers Carl Richard St. Clair. 14 T. L. BURCH Social Studies MRS.
