Several 1980-81 Indian athletes received their well earned sports letters at the Spring Sports Banquet in May. Because of hours of strenuous training, these athletes received the recog- nition they so well deserved. Getting a letter isn't as easy as it sounds. A football play- er must get in 16 quarters of district games in order to let- ter. The highest amount of letters an athlete can receive is four. We'd like to con- gratulate our athletes for all the effort they have put into the games and for excelling in these sports. 31 FAL L TEAM SPCRTS Varsity Football --2 rg s 9' UQ?
