Mr. Smith received his degree in Business Administration at Washington State Uni- versity and his degree in Education at Western Washington College of Education. He now teaches typing, bookkeeping, eco- nomics and business law. Mr. Treat, the Senior social studies teacher has attended Colorado State College of Education, State Teachers College of North Dakota, North Dakota University and Central Washington State College. According to his students he is often heard saying, That's a new breed of cats. Mr. Soland, our head basketball coach and assistant football and track coach, teaches boys' P.E. and American Govern- ment. A graduate ot Pacific Lutheran Uni- versity, his hobbies include hunting and fishing. Mr. Tonstad, a graduate of the University of Puget Sound, teaches Speech, U.S. His- tory and is a councelor. He enjoys photog- raphy and is frequently heard saying, l haven't told you this one before have I? A childhood ambition of Mrs. Vawter's was to run a lighthouse on a rocky island. In- stead she went to Concordia College and Washington State University and became an English teacher. 13 Miss Still enioys gardening and music, and had ambitions of becoming a concert pi- anist. After attending Whitman College and the University of Washington, Miss Still became our tine librarian and the advisor to Honor Society. Mr. White always wanted to sing Be-Bop- a-Lulu at Carnegie Hall, but fortunately the Marines nabbed him. He now teaches history courses and coaches at Issaquah.
