“GIRLS' GLEE CLUB The Girls' Glee Club of twenty-three members, was organized under the direction of Mr. Draheim. The girls that sang first soprano were M. Quathamer, M. Jensen, F. Petersen, E. Shipp, C. Blackwell, M. Ahrermoltz, and B. Hansen. Singing second soprano were B. Thompson, G. Thompson, D. Swanson, M. Winsor, C. Axland, Ladelle Wiese, L. Muller, and A. Olson. Those who sang alto were D. Larson, C. Kuchel, V. Petersen, A. Petersen, I... Smith, M. Simpson, Lyla Wiese, and V. Anthony. The girls enjoyed singing a combination of old and new songs. Mr. Draheim also organized a sextette. The first sopranos were F. Petersen and E. Shipp: second sopranos were G. Thompson and B. Thompson: altos were M. Simpson and D. Larson. Ruth Ann Nielsen played the piano for both the glee club and sextette. The glee club and sextette sang at the music reviews and a few P. T. A. mettings. BOYS' GLEE CLUB The Boys' Glee Club of twenty-one members, was under the direction of Mr. Draheim. Those singing tenor were D. Smith, D. Piper, J. Swanson, .T. McMahon, B. Ahrenholtz, D. Cerka, P. Steenhusen, M. Flug, and R. Wetzel. Those who sang bass were B. Olson K. Jensen, G. Richards, M. Barry A. J'uhl, F. Kuchel, A. Olson, C. Wooster, M. Mork, L. Iuhl, B, Gaskill. and G. Borkowski. Richard McMahon played the piano for the glee club. The boys sang many new songs and enjoyed it very much. 4- It 4: ar Ik Ik Do you know that Mr. Lord beats his wife up every morning? You don't say? Yes, he gets up at seven and she gets up at eight. Teddy A.: How can I make anti-freeze? Jack B.: Hide her woolen pajamas. Coach: Why is it irnportant not to lose your head in a. game? Allen J'.: Because if I did, I wouldn't have any place to put my helmet.
