Drum and Bugle Corp . . . dependable stage hand for theatricals . . . Mr. Senior's right hand man . . . future electrician. SALLY LOU BOCH Sally . . . diligent yearbook worker . . . a pusher in Tri-Hi-Y . . . liked Miss Hershey's P. 0. D. class discussions . . . first girl in drivers ed. class to pass her driver's test . . . couldn't express her thoughts . . . hopes to be a laboratory technician. JOHN R. CARNATHAN Dick . . . served as typist for the Round-Up . . . was always missed on the first day of hunting season . . . liked tall girls . . . spent many of his evenings at the show . . . would like to be a store manager someday. CLARKE Jack . . . one of Irwin High's big-boys . . . nimble center of the varsity quintet . . . manager of the band . . . believes his future lies in aviation . . doing the art work for the publications proved his versatility. DOROTHY M. D'ETAR Dolly . . . one of our future homemakers . . . influential member of F. H. A. and Commercial Clubs . . . was a snappy majorette . . . usually seen with Joann . . . wasn't too thrilled about coming to school . . . hopes to be a comptometer Operator. DANIEL DONNELLY Dan . . . thought desks were made to sleep on . . . he and Dick Ference were often seen tinker- ing with their cars . . . his name was frequently found on the A. M. tardy slips . . . enjoyed watching Or participating in any sport. DALLAS B. EATON Bucky . . . a Penn Township boy who came to Irwin as a senior . . . mixed in well with his new classmates . . . fond of all sports, particularly base- ball . . . never ceased to wonder at how the teachers of Irwin graded. FERENCE Dick . . . business manager of Round-Up . . . took part in all intramural sports . . . member of Hi-Y . . . could be depended on to run errands in his car . . . distinguished by his crew-cut . . . aspires to be an engineer. Essy . . . very easy on the eyes . . . seemed to like giggling better than speaking in speech class . . . a devoted Tri-Hi-Y member . . . her greatest interest in school was the Rifle Club . . . a queen candidate. HOCKENSMITH Al . . . the proud possessor of a two carburet- or Ford . . . always wore the latest styles . . . apparently enjoyed missing school . . . had a price- less gift of gab . . . liked speech class and speech work . . . contented to wait and see what the future holds. PATRICIA J. JARVIS Pat . . . secretary of the Tri-Hi-Y . . . spent many an evening at Guy's chatting with her friends . . . wished there were more tall boys with whom to dance . . . a member of Miss Carroll's choruses . . . looks to a future in nursing.
