CHIEFTAIN IRWIN COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL OCILLA, GEORGIA VOL 32 1980 Table of Contents Special People — Events..............23 Sports..............33 Classes.............51 Clubs...............97 Junior High........115 Faculty............143 Closing............147 Encounters This year, our cameras caught students as they encountered everyday life at school. We caught them doing their own thing, and in many cases, doing everybody else's too. just the same, they did what all students in the past did, and what all students in the future will do. The staff would like to thank the faculty for 180 long days, they endured us taking pho- tos and walking down the halls trying to take pictures. The staff would like to thank Mrs. Stanley and Mrs. Yeager for helping to make the yearbook a better one for you. And now, you are about to experience a close encounter of the best kind. The 1979-80 Chieftain Staff is proud to present our year- book to you, the stu- dent body. Thanks for helping us make this a very special CLOSE ENCOUNTER OF THE 4 BEST KIND.
