Without his help this book would not have been possible, and to him we sincerely say thanks. 3rtum Cmmtu Jbttyh d]ool C. A. Estes, principal ©cilia, (Georgia Dear Seniors, During the past four years you have built a foundation for life. This foundation must stand the rigors of chang- ing times. The labors of the past are soon forgotten in anticipation for the future. Make this future an inspir- ing one for yourselves and others. Be earnest and thought- ful in arriving at decisions, firm and fair in your con- victions, considerate of your fellow men and their beliefs, decisive and logical in organizing plans, calm and unruffed in moments of stress, loyal and appreciative of your school and our great United States. Leave a mark for others to reach so that the world may say the Class of 1957 built a firm foundation for life. Sincerely, C.A. Estes, Principal The Senior Class Irwin County High School Ocilla, Georgia Dear Seniors: I consider it an honor to be asked to contribute this note for your annual. As seniors, you have reached one of the first milestones in the journey of life. You have demonstrated qualities worthy of this mark. May each of you con- tinue your education to its fullest, thus better preparing you for citizenship in this great democracy of ours. As your superintendent I am proud of the small part I have had in your journey this far in life. You are a fine group of boys and girls, worthy of all honors and considerations received thus far. May your future efforts be crowned with suc- cess and happiness. In closing these remarks, may I call to your attention the wisdom contained in these words: Choose wisely what to do. Do that which you have chosen well. Sincerely, K. N.
