FROSH-SOPH BASEBALL This year's squad consist- ed of twenty-six players, but unfortunately, after fi- nal cuts were made only eighteen players re- mained. With the pitching of Bret Delehoy, James Barker and Dave Becker, defense was very sound. The offense, with hitters like Bryon Fink, Brent Fink and Matt Baldini balanced the strong defense. Qiv BOYS J. . BASKETBALL The J.V. Basketball team was coached this year by Phil Rockey. The team was right at the top in both their defensive and offensive aver- ages. The team captains were Scott Pisle and Rgngyjlalmer. The pre-season record was sev- en wins and two losses. This years team was made up of two freshman, six sophomores, and four juniors. The average team members height was 5'1O , and the tallest player was 6'3 . Players singled out for their good sports- manship were Tim Battaion, Grable Ramirez and Ray Thatcher. Coach Rockey feels the team has a very good chance for the M.V.A.L.
