RSITY According to Coach Gary Miller this years Varsity Football team, though quite young, was very competitive and exciting to watch. The four wins, six losses record was a bit disap- pointing but they did play four teams in the top ten in the East Bay and lost three games by a total of eleven points. The team was led by senior co- captains Mike Schanen and Kyung Lee. Although we are losing some fine seniors, next year, the Vikings will have twenty-five returning letter- men. Among those returning will be all-league selections Chris Knight and Scott Garner. This years squad has laid the ground work for a strong team next year. Just warming up! 64 A Good game Vikings! FRUSH-SUPH FUUTBALL This years Frosh-Soph football team had a rugged season. They were young but stuck in there until the end, Leading the team was Coach Bill Caprassecca and Asst. Coach AI Huckaby. The players this year were Todd Cramer gaining over one-thou- sand yards, along with Sean Mon- toya and John Mitrick.
