iking Mascot Lori Morales was this years Viking Mascot for her second year. Lori went to Spirit Camp in Santa Bar- bara with the Song Girls and Cheerleaders. At the camp she won two excellent ribbons which is 3rd place and two superiors which indicates lst place. She also received the Unity Award which is voted by everyone at camp as to who is the most friendliest Spirit Leader. These two girls who have never twirled together, did a superb job at the United States Spirit Association Major- ette Camp located at Covell College in Santa Cruz. Their first performance in front of a large crowd was at the Path- finders Parade. The girls gave it all they had resulting in a first place trophy. The Majorettes have performed in rallies and at the Irvington football games.
