ARSITY TRACK Pictured above from L to R, Front row, John Brooks, Fred liot. Back row, Coach Bob Buum, Jeff Cucculelli Dean Woodward, 'Jim Pena, Noel Gavin, Rob Andrews, Mike EI- Church, Rex Barber, Ron Ely, Sky Adgie. The Irvington Varsity Track team is the smallest squad the Vikes have fielded. At present the team is made up of five seniors and ten juniors. ln order to flesh out the team it will be necessary to select a few freshmen and sophomores to partici- pate at the varsity level. This procedure is a first for Coach Bob Buum. Though the Vikings are few they have several standouts which include, the senior distance runners Jim Pena and Sky Adgie. ln the dashes there are juniors Fred Woodward, Dean Church and Noel Gavin. Jeff Cucculelli is the Irvington weight man and ranks high in the league. The team being short- handed, as it is, will be staking their season performance on how well the sophomores and freshmen do at varsity level. Coach Bob Buum

The Boys Frosh-Soph Track Team has the largest turnout of team members in five years. With seventeen freshmen and eight sophomores the team has many outstanding runners and field competitors.
