Terrie MacDonald Cheryl Cane Coach Jack Boteren- f 1 N 'h lt's time for a team conference The Irvington Viking Girls Basketball team put in a maximum effort striving for the top spot in the MVAL. Among the high scorers were senior Ter- rie MacDonald, who averaged 20 points per game, and sophomores Rena Wack, who aver- aged 10 points per game. Also singled out for an outstanding performance was Michelle Brown. According to Coach Jack Boterenbrood the team is very young, but he has high hopes since all team members, with the exception of Vickie Ebbler, Margie Hay and Terrie MacDonald will be returning next year.

The de- fense was headed up by Denise Hernandez and Michelle Mayo. Both put in great performances keeping the opponents from scor- ing. Here it comes!

4 The 1979-80 edition of the varsi- ty soccer team was led by sever- al outstanding seniors. During their third year on the varsity squad Niles Searls and Dave Glover led the scoring at- tack. At midfield, controlling the tempo of the game were David Dutra and Marcel Besson with Chris Anolin. Holding down the defense was Ashween Chandra, John Collins, Todd Carpenter, John Jacques, Junior Dan Dutra, and Mike Hol- lenshead at goalie.
