Varsity Football This years Viking football team had a rugged schedule. Six of the ten teams they played throughout the season finished among the top ten inthe East Bay. Coached by Mr. Gary Miller for the ninth year, he felt the entire team gave its best effort every game. He also commented that the Vikings were small in size and plagued by many injuries, including that of starting quarterback Bob Brown which Miller feels hurt the team early in the season. Miller singled out as the seasons key players, Denny Martinez, Dennis Cramer, Josh Hendrix and Mike Schanen.
