Concert Orchestra The Concert Orchestra class consists of experienced musicians that performed at the Spring Concert. They also performed by invitation to various other groups. These musicians must have had at least one year of music reading experience. The Concert Orchestra is directed by Mr. Wayne Edwards. Pictured Bottom: Rick Mucino-French Horn. E V M - WA r m ™ ' Irvington’s Chorus is a group of girls interested in singing. They sing folk, jazz, classical and rock music meeting everyday at sixth period. The voice parts are soprano and alto. They per¬ formed at the Christmas Con¬ cert under the direction of Mrs. Lee Glover. Won Em scj en§ nble The Women’s Ensemble is passionately devoted to the music of Bach and sticking their fingers in their faces. The group was led by Mrs. Lee Glover. They rehearsed about twice a week and performed for the concerts at Irvington. Drum Major Our Drum Major for this year was Jon Van Zandt. Through his excellence and zeal he has entranced crowds with his exceptional skill with a baton. During the summer he attended Drum Major Camp in Santa Barbara where he took first place trophies in state competition. He plans on lead¬ ing the Irvington High Marching Band in his senior year. 68
