Mr Ronald W Ruptier (pictured above) is our new Director of Student Activities He also teaches girls ' football in P E Being new at Irvington. Mr Ruptier is just getting to know all the students Those that have had the opportunity to meet him have found him warm, friendly and personable At Cal State Poly Technic University in Pomona he received his Bachelors Degree in Science His teaching began at Gary High and Lorbeer Jr High (both in Pomona) The Executive Board is the student governing body of Irvington High. Twelve individuals representing different portions of the student body serve on the board Areas of concern that the Executive Board have been actively engaged in this year have been, open campus, vending machines, and building a walkway to the library. c.s.f. California Scholarship Federation, better known as C.S.F. consists of those students meeting high grade qualifications. The club has many fund raising activities such as the annual Brain Bowl, where students compete and try to gain the most points by answering as many questions as possible. The proceeds help to finance Senior Scholarships for C.S.F. Senior members. Funds are also used to go toward C.S.F. ' s annual field trip, which this year is being scheduled if possible for Yosemite.
