The 73-74 Freshman basketball team finished with 13 wins and 3 losses. This is the best record ever for an Irvington freshman team. The freshman Vikings finished in second place in the MVAL standings one game behind Logan, who they split with during league play. The high scoring Vikings averaged 52 points per game while giving up only 39 points per game to their opponents.
