Irvington’s Vee-Bee’s set a Viking precedent by win¬ ning their biggest game of the season. The Viking light¬ weights hustled onto the Huskies field for their first meeting with the Washington Puppies. The high spirit¬ ed Vee-Bee’s whipped the Puppies 13-0 in an exciting prelude to the varsity game. Highlight of the Bee game came when Dick Barham took a handoff and threw a long pass to Ray Edwards for the longest T.D. of the game. The Vee-Bee’s had three touchdowns called back, but still managed to whip the Puppies 13-0. BELOW: Lockwood (left picture) moves in to make a tackle on an Andrew Hill ball carrier. Villa (right picture) carries around the Hill right end for a long gainer.
