4-,VN CLASS WILL We, the Senior Class of 1947, of Irvine, County of Estill, and State of Kentucky, do make and publish the following as our last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills made by us: Item I: We direct that all our just debts and an- nual expenses be first paid out of the general fund. Item Il: We give and bequeath to Irvine High School, of Irvine, the sum of whatever we have left in cash, to be applied for the general purpose of such school. Item III: We wish to bequeath to the faculty our deepest gratitude when the plea something else just has to be done was given. Item IV: After we are gone, we want the whole student body to enjoy the library and books referring to Macbeth or Caesar. Item V: Our sponsors, Miss Lisle and Mr. Ohr-we leave hoping they may some day find another ideal class . Item VI: We wish to bequeath our grades on the placement tests to Mr. Flege. CThey w0n't be sur- passed.J Item VII: To the Juniors, our heartiest approval for their art of managing affairs, others as well as their own. Item VIII: To the Sophomores, our sincerest re- spects, for their ability to get by on nothing. Item IX: To the Freshmen, our serious dignified airs, as well as our unlimited store of knowledge. Item X: To the drug stores, our life-long remem- brance of dopes-good and bad. Having thus jointly disposed of the foregoing items, we individually and severally give and bequeath the following: I, Bob Harris Benton. will my position as presi- dent of the Senior Class to Charles Broaddus. May he do as well next year as he has done this year as the president of the Junior Class. I, Billy Carhartt, leave every single student the ability to check his high school credits before he enters college. I, Darrell Cox, leave my football career to promis- ing Little Kenny. I, Dorothy Cox, want to give my tiny waist to Helen Combs to use some day. I, Jean Cole, bestow my art of walking upon Bev- erly Ashcraft. I, Carol Crouch, give and bequeath my blond hair to Carolyn Logsdon. I, Wanda Durbin, am going to leave Thomas, my car, for Eva to drive to and from school next year, with the provision that she not lose it on side streets. I, Kenneth Handy, will my ability to make good grades to Samuel Roberts. I, Virginia Hunt, bestow my studious air upon all those now in despair. I, Betty Masters, will my absentee lists to Vada Howell. I, Simpson McConkey, bequeath to James Benton my ambition and abliity to debate and argue. I, Margaret McPherson, wish for Patricia Walker to have my History IV knowledge next year. I, Betty Moore, give and bequeath my quiet ways to Joy Whitehead. 4' I, George Ann Mundy, give Donna Jean Garrett my learning in geometry plus an added quantity. I, Clarence Miller, will all of the lunch to Clara Wilson now that I'm gone. I, Sammy Naive, do give and bequeath my 'tgift of gab to Paul Patrick. I, Freida Nayle, will my kid brother, Bobby to Nancy McClanahan. I, Fred Noland, bestow my excess height upon Chris Poulos and Charles Mastin. I, Glynn Powell, leave my knack with the teachers to Charles Dunaway. I, Kermit Quisenberry, bequeath my way with the women to Marvin Moberly. I, Margaret Ann Richardson, will my position in the office to Ann Stevens. I, Billy Seale, leave my bashfulness to Tommy Lisle. I, Gloria Jean Seale, give my long hair to Joretta Freeman. I, Geraldine Scrivner, bequeath to Juelma Mar- lowe my ability to agree on most anything that comes up. ' - I, Tommy Scrivner, bestow my 'tardiness upon Vir- ginia Lee Terrell who is already in practice. I, Louise Shearer, willingly give my knowledge of Ivanhoe to any future senior. I, Ann Sherrard, leave my Hazard accent to Joan Webb. I, Virgil Smith, give and bequeath my courting charms to Billy Witt. I, Patty Lou Smith, think Margaret Merritt and Dottie Dell McPherson need some of my height, so that I shall will to them. I, Mildred Smithers, will Mary Lee Kash my pleas- ing personality. I, Sally Smithers, do here and now bestow my never changing mind upon Julia Tipton. I, Gertrude Tuttle, solemnly give my ability to ask a question to Wilma Floyd. I, Mary Neal Wilson, will my dignity to Elizabeth Ann Whitehead. I, Herman Wolfinbarger, give and bequeath my ability to dance to Donald Brandenburg. Item XI: We make, nominate, and appoint Joe W.
