DR. O. C. IRVIN Chosen secretary of the first school board in 1882. Dr. O. C. 1rvin saw the building of the first El Paso school. H5 1 is R, L u DR. E. H. IRVIN A pioneer El Paso physician, Dr. E. H. Irvin served on the school board during the years 1910- 1913, inclusive, and was president of the board during 1912 and 1913. At the time he was on the school board, El Paso was suffering from growing pains and as a result a four-block site was chosen in the Alexander Addition for a new high school. E1 Paso High School became a reality.. MR. C. lVI. IRVIN Mr. C. M. Irvin is a native El Pasoan and a 1921 graduate of E1 Paso High School. Mr. Irvin is a former president of the El Paso Chamber of Com- merce and Sun Carnival Association. Mr. Irvin served as president of the schoolboard from 1955 through April 8, 1958. Mr. Irvin retired from the board in April of 1958 and still resides in El Paso.
