Teacher Switch Day Wednesday, October 7 was Senior Day. The seniors switched roles with the teachers and taught their classes for that day. The seniors were to do as the teacher would. They taught a les- son or a lab and even got to lecture the classes as a teacher would. The teachers said it's a great way for students to see what a teacher has to put up with. One student said he thought it was fun to see the teach- ers having so much fun and really en- joying a blow-off day for a change. Mere is a list of a few of the students and the roles they played for the day: Mr. Clinard - Denise Szymanek Mr. Dennis - Sharon Stone Mr. Staebell - Lora Kay Mr. Stepien - Kerri Liddell Mrs. Warzel - Bonnie Mauck Mrs. Butler - Rachelle Rydzynski Mrs. Mann - Julie Lindberg Mrs. Smith - Diane Mewman Overall, most of those who were in- volved enjoyed the switch. The day turned out to be successful and an adventure to some. Congratulations to everyone who participated! 8 Opening

That Was Then, This Is Plow On Thursday, October 8, some students dressed from their favorite era. They wore every- thing from togas to peace signs and bandanas. One person dressed as a baby and carried around a bottle and blanket, now that was an interesting look at the past. Another popular dress for the day was from the 50's era with a wide varity of bobby socks, saddle shoes, pony- tails, and brightly colored scarves. Then there were the people who dressed as This Is riow or in other words, just another school day. Talk about out of the ordinary, they wore jeans, sweaters or T-shirts, and sneakers. We would like to thank the many participants in the day's activity. Homecoming Pep Assembly The Pep Rally Friday afternoon was a success for the most part. The energy and enthusiasm could be felt as the shouts and cheers rang out. The assebly began with the musical cheers of the band, rousing the students as they entered the gym. As the students settled in their own bleacher sections and things became orga- nized, the assembly began with the greetings of Miss Boggan. Activities got underway with the traditional, Let's go ICS'' cheer, done by each individual class in competition. Although the competition wasn't judged, each class put forth a great effort to all become winners. It was a close competition, but the sopho- l 1. Peace, Love and Happiness states Molly Hoeft 2.
