When you ask the typical student how the week has gone, he usually answers, “It has been far too long, has gone much too slowly, and when the weekend finally rolled around it went by much too fast.” This can be commonly diagnosed as school burnout. It hits the seniors during the first week of school, and rapidly spreads throughout the rest of the stu- dent body. Many, however, discover quick remedies for these symptoms, and put them into practice on those long waited Friday nights. The favorite hangouts seem to be associated with food. Santora’s is a good place to talk about the game and find out where all the parties are. It doesn’t matter what you do on Friday night, just as long as you have fun. Many go to the football games to cheer for their favorite players and socialize with their friends. After- wards, many try to find out what is going on and whose parents are away for the weekend. Parties seem to be the most popular spot for meeting that special someone or just relieving the week’s tensions with close friends. 4 Opening
