diitQ; The yearbook is usually credited to the editors; however, it is not the editors alone who compose it. We, the editors would like to thank everybody who helped put this yearbook together. Thank you for your effort, your added ideas, and your patience. Without you the yearbook would not be. A lot of hard work went along with this year- book and all of us hope that it will show in the following pages. We would also like to wish the 1984-85 senior class of Ironwood Catholic High a farewell and best wishes in whatever you choose to do.

This year, the Yearbook staff would like to dedicate the yearbook to the city of Iron- wood who is celebrating its centennial. In 1882, iron ore was discovered by James A. Wood, and Ironwood was settled as a town three years later in 1885. Of course, the mines constituted the town and this business was a new beginning for many. As the years went by, the population grew so that in 1888 it was 7,000 and later in 1920 it reached the level of 15,739. Today, the mining business has fallen, but Ironwood is still our home and we are proud of it!
