Dedication We, the yearbook staff of 1981, are proud of the work which has been done on the year- book since 1972. 1972 was a memorable year because the yearbook’s name was changed. This year, we would like to dedicate the yearbook in gratitude to past “LONER” editors. Debbie Grenfell 1 was the editor in 1972. She is now Mrs. Larson and is attending the University of Missouri where she is studying special education. In 1973, Mary Ann Swanson 2 took over the position of editor. Mrs. Erickson presently works at Detroit and Northern. The 1974 editors were Kathy Semenak5, now Mrs. Dean Lantta, a housewife and mother of two and Sue Finco4, who works at the University of Minnesota. Annette Mariani5, the 1975 editor, is now working at the First National Bank. In 1976 and 1977, Kay Kytola6 and Carole Luczak7 were the yearbook editors. Kay presently works in Wausau as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Carole is an Administrative Specialist in the Personnel Planning and Placement Department at Northern States Power Company in Minneapolis. Joan Andrini8, now in Battle Creek, was 1978’s editor, while Mary Fafford9 took over this position in 1979. Mary is currently going to Gogebic Community College, and work- ing at Ben’s Place. In 1980, Jean Mioni10, who works at Trier’s Drug Store and attends Gogebic Communi- ty College, along with Cathy Ruppe 11 who also attends Gogebic and works at Red Owl, were the editors for the yearbook. All of the past yearbook editors have done a fine job in preparing the yearbook. The future editor’s goals are to reach or even surpass the heights obtained by those in the past. Futhermore, we would like to thank our advisor, Mr. Grenda for making this yearbook possible. Also, special thanks to Ronnie Surprenant for the endless hours he spent in helping us. Sincerely, Yearbook Staff
