CRUSADERS The students of Ironwood Catholic High School have dedicated our 1979 yearbook to the members of the CRUSADERS. This organization was established to promote and support extra curricular activities at Ironwood Catholic High School. It was through their support and leadership that new uniforms were purchased for boys basketball and varsity cheerleaders. The installment of the Public Address System and the purchase of a set of World Book Encyclopedias were major projects completed recently. An annual project of the CRUSADERS is the preparation and the sponsoring of a Senior banquet. In 1975, the CRUSADERS began our annual La Rosa Spaghetti Feed. It has brought success and recognition to our school. The officers this year are: President — Dorothy Olsen; Vice President — Edward Vinoski: Secretary — Joan Buchko; Treasurer — Sister Serena. The following people have contributed greatly to the success of the CRUSADERS: Mr. and Mrs. Anton Bonato, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Supercynski, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Vinoski. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Olsen, Mr Ed Luczak, Mrs. Joe Ruppe, Mrs. Eugene Fudaley, Regina Ruppe, Mrs. George Semenak and Sr. Serena. The students of Ironwood Catholic High School feel that the CRUSADERS have contributed greatly to the continual success of our school. Thank you, CRUSADERS! 4

FORWARD Dear Fellow Students, As the 1978-79 school year comes to a close, I hope all of you will be excited over the 1979 “Loner as much as I am. The staff and I have spent many hours trying to update the yearbook and bring new features, which are: a change in layout plans, more pictures, and more participation from each class. I would like to thank all of the people who partici- pated in collecting ads, homeroom payments, making suggestions, and taking pictures, which has made this yearbook one of the best. I would also like to give special thanks to Rita Supercynski for her time and effort incoming up with new layout designs, Mr. Grenda for his guidance and help as our yearbook advisor, Mr. Ronnie Supre- nant, for his time, ideas, and ability to put up with high school students and most of all I’d like to thank you, the student body, for all your cooperation given for the completion of the 1979 yearbook. I hope you will give next year’s editor and staff as much cooperation. Sincerely, 3
