Mary Suzette Fafford Mary is a very active and well liked girl at Ironwood Catholic. Some of her favorite things to do are meeting people, going bike riding, playing tennis, swimming, camping, and doing most anything outdoors. After high school, Mary plans on going to Gogebic Community College for two years, and then probably to Ferris or Michigan State to pursue the field of Market Purchasing. Her greatest achievement in high school was quali- fying for the U P. Finals in track in her fresh- man and sophomore years. Other activities include: Basketball 2, 3, 4; Track 1, 2, 3, 4; Cheerleading 1, 2, 3, 4; Year- book Staff 1, 2, 3, 4; CAC 1, 2, 3, 4; Chorus 1; Student Council Secretary 2, 3; Student Coun- cil Rep. 4; Forensics. Nancy has an uncanny ability to make peo- ple laugh. She enjoys sports, as is evident in her participation in them. Nancy has been in basketball, track, both of which she has let- tered. In her sophomore year, she placed first in the mile race at the Porcupine Mountain Conference Track Meet. Nancy plans to go to college and pursue a career in the secretarial field. Kathleen Ann DeRosier Kathy enjoys making rugs and sewing things, both of which she is very good at. Kathy is a gentle person and has proved this by help- ing out at the hospital by candy striping. After school, she would like to go on with her work and become a nurse. Other activities include: Volleyball 1; Year- book Staff 1,2,3; Pop Shoppe 1,2, 3, 4; CAC 2, 3, 4; CCD 1,2, 3, 4. Sarah Jeanne Eskola Sarah started Ironwood Catholic as a Fresh- man. Since then she has participated in band and won a chance to play at the State Music Competition in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Sarah enjoys candy striping, which she feels is going to help her develop her career; a therapist or a Registered Nurse. Rita Jean Supercynski Rita is your ail around active girl. She has been active in sports all four years of high school. Not only has she excelled in sports, but also in other activities in school. In her Junior year, Rita made the Porcupine Mountain All Conference Team and honorable mention for the Tri-State Team in basketball, and made it to the U P. Finals for Track and Field. She is a scholastic as well as an athletic per- son. Of all the things Rita likes to do, being with people is her favorite. Other activities include. Track 1,2, 3, 4; Vol- leyball 2, 3, 4; Cheerleading 1,2, 3, 4; Student Council Rep. 2; Student Council Treasurer 3; Class President 4; CAC 1, 2, 3, 4; Yearbook Staff 1, 2, 3, 4; Chorus 1; Pop Shoppe 1, 3, 4; Forensics 1. Tom is one of those guys who is in every- thing. He participates in sports (basketball, running, tennis and bowling) music and foren- sics. In Tom's freshman year, he lettered in bas- ketball, track, and cross country and managed to keep his grades up. Out of school he enjoys photography and reading.
