Now this book deals with . . . A cheery smile and a friendly good morning from Miss Helen Rice start the school day off just right. Always ready to help a prospective Hemingway or Faraday. Miss Rice knows the exact location and content of even the most obscure volumes in the library. Her reading lists have proved invaluable for both the typical IHS student and the more ad- vanced scholar seeking college level material for accelerated classes. As if managing a library were not enough, Miss Rice is also advisor of the Visual Aid Corps. fnder Gimme that red one. ' her astute guidance the volume of films and audio- visual material has tripled in the past year. Library Club, a group of volunteer working aides is also under her directorship. Club members are impressed with her passion for good books and the importance of a smoothly run library. It is therefore with a great deal of pride and affection that we. the Class of 1959. dedicate this book of our best memories to Miss Rice for her un- selfish work in making our high school years more meaningful and in preparing us for future happiness.
