Senlor Class of 46 was laid ln a picturesque pattern as we as sophomores became eligrble members of the Senior High School Although we quivered under the tue of the lofty senlors we nelertheless slowly changed our mode of dress tc match those of the nonchalant bobby soxers and graduallx became accustomed to our new freedom and sense of Importance As hlstory repeats itself rnexrtablv some students rnstantlx became acquainted with room C10 where fre- quentlv one hour was suffered in srlence and a'so Mr Egrzzr s classroom where matters such as courtesy polite- ness 'rnd charm were placed oxer the lronrng board and rroned out Under the lea lership of Peter Van Laanen president Lorraine VS hrte vice president and Donald Ladwlg secretarv treasurer and advised by Vllss Larson we turned an enthusiastic ere toward sports musrc and other actrxrtres of the school When our class partv ln the fa'l of 1915 rolled around we as Junrors entered into the busiest year of our school llfe Peter tenslon 'rnd brought smlles from the harassed students before thev proceeded to cram for the next etc rm As Nfarch rolled around step ladders sheets and an odd assortment of queer equipment with much bustlrng and scurrying around our gvm the Juniors assembled their booths ln preparatron for the annual Junror Carnlxal By extravagant adxertlslng and come hlther appeals to the big ered voung stuff we surceedcd rn rnduclng them as well as the old timers to empty their pockets into the treasurv of the Junlor Class In the midst of all the con fusion and laughter a short p rrod of sllence prevailed as our loxelw queen Phxllls Gorrell 'rnd our hrndsome krng Dare Anderson stepped forward to be crowned bv the pr ellous wears couple Irene Rossl and 'Vlerton Anderson Florence SenV,er succeeded by
