S. grid team had a very successful season this year, coping regional championship honors. The Braves, though dropping two non-conference games, proved to be one of the elevenbest Class B teams in Texas, and the best in West Texas. The Iraan gridsters ran wild in the championship game, racking up 40 points to 13 for Menard. The Braves probably hit their top stride in scalping the Crane Golden Cranes 26-0 for the district title. The bi-district game was an easy one for the Braves. The Shorthorns were dropped by a Z0-6 count. During the season, the Braves rolled up 287 points to 76 for the opposition. For their good work, the gridsters were able to add two beautiful trophies to the already well- filled trophy case. wzlejhww J'. W.
