Eubank and Kimmel were selected to the all-tournament teams at each place, Taylor at Fluvanna and Ira, 'Ifhomas at Fluvanna and Turner at Ira. By winning over Westbrook twice in a best two out of three series, the girls gained the title of District Champs. After defeating Hobbs 58-41 in the Ei-district tilt, they went to Canyon to enter the regional tournament. Although they lost in the Consolation bracket of the tourney, Eubank and Kimmel were select- ed on the regional all-tournament team. Ending their season with a 31-6 record, the fans were very proud of this '58 team.
