Botton Row: Duane Hart, John Mengwasser, Sonny Thomason, Leon Huddleston, James Maupin. The Ira boys had a very successful year by four games out of eight in the conference play-off. Entering the Hermeleigh tournament, the boys won consolation. They were beaten out of the consolation trophy at Divide by losing to Divide by one point. Shorty Burney and James Maupin were placed on the All -Toumament team at Hermeleigh and Jimmy Woosley was placed in the Divide Tournament. Burney was high point man for the season thus far with 230 pointsg Mengwasser, 203 points, Maupin, 203 pointsg and Woosley with 101 points.
