THE WEATHERVANE 1 9 8 6 Each one of us, at one point in our lives, has looked to other sources to tell us something about ourselves or about those cir- cumstances or people who directly affect us. We have turned to horoscopes to predict our future or to look for promising prophecies. We even look to fortune cookies for an assuring word that our futures will be happy and fruitful. Predicting events has become so com monplace that every day we tune into trained men predicting tomorrow’s weather on television. Will it be beach weather? Or will it snow? Most important of all, will school be canceled?! But in the end, we have only ourselves and our past to turn to for glimpses into the future. This yearbook. The Weathervane of 1986, is, therefore, dedicated to our past, but most of all, it is dedicated to the future of the Class of 1986. It will be our “Forecast for the Future.’’ f Good Luck to All!
