Text from Pages 1 - 192 of the 1983 volume:

IN MEMORY of Mark Norris, a member of the class of 1983, his brother Jonathan and father George who died in a fire that de- stroyed their home in January, 1980. Mark was a talented musi- cian and sensitive person who is missed by all. As time requireth, a man of marvellous mirth and pastimes, and sometimes of as sad gravity, as who say: a man for all seasons. Robert Whittington, 1521 Gratitude for thirty-one years of service is not so easily or ap- propriately expressed in the confines of the printed page. We have collected a few words from centuries past and a few photo- graphs from the past and pre- sent to commemorate a legend. But the real thanks exists in the hearts of all the people who have known Mr. C. Elliott Roundy in the last three decades. Here, epitomized, is love and respect. A phenomenon of nature: the punk rocker. Unusual and unusually colored clothing and hair distinguish them in a crowd. Metal-spiked ankle collars, Devo or Elvis Costello glasses, and leopard-skin pants, shirts, boots and belts are among a few of the accessories indigenous to the breed.
