King 69 On April 10, we, the soon-to- be seniors of Ipswich High School, set out to do something that would prove to be a definite change in tradition. We held our Junior Prom at the Radisson Ferncroft in Danvers. To most of us, this was the night that we became seniors! Remember how nervous we were, and the thoughts that were running through our minds? “Do I look all right? . . . Is my hair all right? . . . “Are we going to be late? To some of us it was a nervewracking experience, but it was worth it! JUNIOR PROM O Left to right, top to bottom: Coach A. Carey, Coach K. Spellman, K. Carter, G. Koshivas, J. Stasiuk, G. Freshmen are the ones who venture into Senior ter- ritory, only to crash into some overgrown senior, and drop a their books. Of course, the seniors do not appreciate this. Freshmen are the ones who have been introduced to the first wing bathroom. Freshmen are the ones who tend to get lost in crowds and can never seem to find their way out. Freshmen girls are the ones who usually are terrified of walking by all those senior guys in the foyer and by the third wing bathroom. Freshmen are the ones who take forever to get their lunch because they always get cut by everyone. Freshmen are the ones who get stuck with bringing up all the senior ' s lunch trays. Freshmen are the ones who carry all their books so that they can get to class early and not have to visit their locker. Sophomores are the ones who sell all sorts of candy so that they can help earn money for senior year. Sophomores are the ones who still do not under- stand the idea of hall decoration. Sophomores are the ones who have the problem of figuring out which class ring to get and what color. Sophomores are the ones who have to suffer through Project Suicide. Sophomores are the ones who finally feel like they are part of the High School. But are they? Sophomores are the ones who finally are not on the bottom rung of the ladder. faff m R hall 122 Juniorsare the ones who flunk the basic thrills test and look forward to Doris next year. Juniors are the ones who finally understand how to make up their schedules for next year, but still can ' t do it. Juniors are the ones who finally start to worry about raising enough money for next year. Juniors are the ones who have to find a date for their prom, but can ' t until the last minute. Juniors are the ones who have to start worring about grades in order to get into a college. Juniors are the ones who have to take the PSAT ' s only to find out that they are able to flunk any thing 125 CONGRATULATIONS SENIORS Seniors are the ones who have to fill out all those college applications and wait months, only to find out that they left them in their desk drawer. Seniors are the ones who have to take the SAT ' s because they do not make sense, and that is what college ' s like. Seniors are the ones who pay out all their high school earnings so that they can go to the Castle for their prom.
