Editor’s Letter The 1968 “TIGER” staff has striven to make this yearbook one that you will trea- sure in future years. We hope that when you look at this book in years to come that you will relive all of the exciting moments that the staff has tried to capture for you. We have made an effort to record not only the happenings of the senior class but of the whole school by devoting pages to the other classes. By correlating the happy and the serious aspects of our brief stay at Ipswich High School, we hope that we have presented a well-rounded view of what has taken place daily in our lives. The yearbook is a record of that period of our lives during which we have received our basic education and the character traits that will be so essential when we go out into the world. Our class has had the reputation as the one that was constantly throwing out tra- dition and bringing in new ideas. We have endeavored to live up to this reputation in the yearbook, also. First, we have had a cover, specially made for us, the like of which no other class has ever had. Next, we have photographed the senior officers a way that is quite striking and out of the ordinary. Finally, we have used a sepia ink to highlight one of the candid sections. I, as editor-in-chief, would like to say that I hope you get as much enjoyment out of reading the book as we did in designing it. I would like to thank both our advisor, Mr. William Laakso, who gave us immeasurable assistance during the year, and the wonderful staff, without whose help this book would never have been published.
