Introduction V § M V A y. M In the following pages, the 1966 Tiger Staff has endeavored to capture, both in word and picture, the final year of the Class of 1966 at Ipswich High School. Several great events and many lesser ones are vividly recorded in this yearbook. We have strived for an accurate record of the people and the events of the past year, many of which would, no doubt, be forgotten were they not preserved in repositories such as this for reference in the future when these happenings will have deeper meaning for you. At such a time, a quiet thrill, different from any other, will fill your heart as you relive the past year with those who shared it with you. To keep pace with the current trends, this staff has abandoned the traditional yearbook with hopes of producing a pictorial review, which should evoke plea- surable reflection in the years to come. We hope you will appreciate our book, will refer to it frequently as time goes on, and, twenty or more years from now, will gain even greater pleasure as you peruse the pages depicting life at Ipswich High School in the school year ending in 1966. Again, we, the staff, wish you enjoyment in the reading of our new book, and I, as chief editor, want to thank our advisor, Mrs. Roberts, and the rest of my fine staff for the wonderful job they have done in bringing the whole yearbook to fruition.
