M., Tufts College, Mass.; Grand Commander of Iowa Masonic order; Phi Delta Theta. Professor Edwards came to Mt. Pleasant, la., in the fall of 1898, where he was elected to the chair of chemistry, which position he has filled with credit to the institution and to himself. He was elected member of the city council for the years ’13 and 14. Professor Edwards has won a place of high esteem among his students and fellow townsmen, where his counsel is valued and sought in educational, civic, and fraternal affairs. I rszr
