A PSALM Dr. Henry G. Leist is a good sport, I should worry. He mal eth me to rise up in class time, to throw my gum out of the window. He ahhorreth cuts and colledeth alarm clocks in abundance. He leadeth thru paths of translation for the German’s sake. Yea, tho I read “Immensee” and “ Herold” and holdeth my tongue in the class room, he maketh me sweat neath the collar, when I lose my place in translation. His jokes and his puns never dwindle. He pre-pareth them with care beforehand in the presence of his wife, then cracketh them next day in his classes. His mirth runneth over. Yea, tho he speaketh in chapel for money all the days of his life, his jokes never faileth and he shall dwell in the hearts of his students forever. So Be It. 3EZE
