Atanasoff lectures this time on physics. ood J- roduction Throughout the Agricultural Division attention has been focused on the demands of the huge expansion in food production called for by the government. A good share of the responsibility of educating Iowa, the great- est agricultural state, is carried on by the Extension Service. Avoiding the mistakes of World War I, the emphasis has been placed on conservation methods as a means of increased production. Better methods of feeding livestock are emphasized on the experimental farms. The economics department studied the farm labor shortage problem. 27
