Lisa moved here from Scott City, Kansas during her junior year. At her former school she was on the Junior Varsity track team her freshman year and moved up her sophomore year to compete on the varsity level. She also participated in tennis on the varsity team. She received the honorable award in art her freshman, sophomore, and junior years. During her senior year Lisa was named class treasurer of the Senior Class, Co-Editor for journalism, and class favorite. Ray has been a member of the varsity football team for three years. He was named to the All-District team his junior year as free-safety and as quarterback his senior year. Having participated in varsity baseball for all four years, Ray's honors and awards are quite lengthy. He was named to the All-District team as outfielder his freshman year; as shortstop his sophomore; as catcher-unanimous choice both his junior and senior years. Ray was awarded the best batting average and golden glove winner his junior year and most valuable player his senior year. During his three years of Varsity Basketball, he received the free throw award his junior year and was named to the All-District team as forward his junior year, and as guard his senior year. Ray also served three years as Representative ia Student Council; serving as President his senior year. Brains and Brawn. With such an astonishing list of accomplishments, it wasn't surprising that Stephen Biddy was chosen Best All-Around. Active in school politics, he was a four year member of Student Council. He was also a member of National Honor Society for two years, serving as historian his second. His feats of athletics and agility could be compared to few. He played varsity football for three years, basketball four years, and ran track for four years. His senior year he was named a member of Red River 22, a selective football team, and 1st team All-District. In basketball he was All-District his junior and senior years and in track he made it all the way to state where he placed fourth in the long jump. BEST ALL-AROUND BOY Buoyancy and Beauty. A bubbly brunette with plenty of talent, was a phrase that could be used to describe Kari Robnett. For two years she was on the cheerleading squad, serving as head cheerleader her senior year. Her musical talents enabled her to be in band for five years and choir for one. Her senior year she served on Student Council and Annual Staff. During the fall, she was crowned 1985 Homecoming Queen. Mixed Company During their first year of existence, this group of talented vocalists sounded anything but inexperi- enced. They were more than just another choir. Mixed Company was composed of singers selected by try- outs. They sang their own type of music and had their own type of style. The group made appearances at the Whoop-T-Do, the Officer's Club, the dedication of the Tom Burnett Memorial Library and at other various concerts. The final confirmation of their talent came when they received a Superior rating at U.I.L. Contest. It is something different for the students, something they can have fun doing, said director Alan Andrews. Mr. Andrews commented that he hoped the group would be around for a long while. 310 N.
