The trip to Six Flags usually climaxes the end of the year for Juniors and Seniors. This year the trip was six days before Grad- uation but even with all the confusion, the thrill seemed even more intense knowing Graduation was around the corner. EVERYONE’S GOAL . . . The pride, the joy, the loneliness, the tears, the hopes, the dreams, the plans, the future . . . GRADUATION The day that climaxes the long hard struggle of usually 12 years reached its peak for the Seniors ’67 on May 26, 1967. The moment to be cherished by all - the prize for 12 years of work, fun, and growing up. The class of ’67 chose the motto — “We Seek the Higher Things,” and will use this in plans for the future. Lana Lavender is typically displaying the pride of receiving her diploma. The anticipation was met with pounding hearts, and the question in nearly everyone’s mind — “What if they don’t have mine, or, what if something goes wrong.” But it passes all too fast with the tears and smiles. 25
