SENIORS As senior nursing students, we experience life with a capital L. We share a special thrill with parents, as a new baby is born. We fight back tears, as we join families in grieving for their loved ones, who have passed away. We are puzzled by the complexities of a man's mind, but try to understand, and help him adapt to society. We see agony on the face of a small child, and often have the reward of seeing his grimace turn to a smile. We stand in awe of surgeons, who with their skills can work minor miracles. Our lives, however extend outside the clinical area. We have time to enjoy a rousing basketball or volleyball game, to share laughter at parties and dances, go out for a night on the town, or spend time in quiet study and meditation. In all we do, there is one goal in sight, graduation day. Then we must take another step forward to meet the unknown challenge of the future, with a promise to do our very best. M. M. P.
