I I ll Dear Mom and Dad, My days 'is a student nurse are drawing to a close, but I can't hclp thinking of all the wonder ful times we shared. Remember the first day you brought me to school and the tears shed on departure? Then came capping, which truly signified that I was on the chosen path of becoming a nurse. Don't forget my anxiety concern- ing grades qThank goodness for C's!l. Re- member my joy about working on the floors and starting departments? How could I have conquered the many discouraging experi- ences without your encouragement and con- fidence? Because you have always accepted me as I am, my days during the past three years were inspired to do my best. How I longed for a weekend at home with you, for love was never overlooked in your welcome. Your letters proved comforting on the most depressing days. I will always love being a nurse, but this love extends from the love you have shown and given me. You have made this love possible and I am proud to be your daughter, but even more proud to have you as my parents. Love, Your daughter
