JOYCE TOWNSEND Hollywood, Calif. Feb. 10, 1952 Pattie Rae Roberts Iowa High School Iowa, Louisiana Dear Miss Roberts: It is always a challenge and a pleasure to me when I receive such requests as yours. It is a challenge because it is difficult generally to reach a verdict and a pleasure because the Yearbook will always be remembered by the girl chosen and I am honored that you thought of me for the judge. Your group was no exception and after much careful consideration I have chosen as the Winner: Miss Shirley Carol Estes. To her I want to say Congratulations and to the re- maining maids of honor congratulations also as they ran a good race. Perhaps some of you might like to join my inter- national Fan Club. Write to Lyle E. Burroughs S23 S. Catalina, Los Angeles 5, Calif, for in- formation. Thank you again and good luck!
