(?tcM4 'Pr fi lectf WHO’S WHO IN AMERICA 1961 Dickie Fergus is now designing what is to be Iowa’s largest skyscraper. Admiral Dale Stine has just been appointed head of the Navy Department. Mrs. America title was just bestowed upon a former Iowa High school student, the former Miss Bonnie Rae Faulk. Mr. A. J. Johnson was just offered a position on the House of David Bas- ketball team, but had to decline - No beard. Edmond Daigle has just discovered a new type of rice on his experimental farm. Martha Ruth McCown appointed head of nurses at Mayo Clinic. Carol Breaux will appear in Iowa tomorrow night to present her world famous skating act. Mr. Donald Fergus has just won the 500 mile Indianapolis speedway race in his suped-up Plymouth he has been working on the past week. Mr. Ronald Hilliard has just been appointed chief designer for General Motors. Mr. Norris Parham won the $10,000 award for the most outstanding pic- ture of the year. Mr. Wilfred Bourne will open his one thousandth super market today. Mr. Wood Menard can be heard tonight, singing some of his most popular numbers. This program will be carried by Iowa's leading radio Stationl-O-W.A. Mr. Lawrence Robideaux, millionaire Cattleman, will open his ranch to visitors today. The former Miss Edda Merle Mott of Iowa High w a s voted the outstanding housewife of the year. Mr. Randolph Guillory, the senator from Louisiana, may run for president this fall. Miss Lois Fay Goodrich, the noted maker of hats, will be married soon. When Miss Elaine Scott takes over her duties today she will be the first woman governor of Louisiana. Mr. Clinton Denny will attempt to fly to the moon today in one of his newly designed rocket planes.
